This t-shirt project is inspired by New Zealand Robin birds, which are one of the endangered species today. This project is to create awareness to the public that we should respond and save our birds that have been threatened and face mass extinction. It is also to raise our awareness toward our own energy consumption, that perhaps will help to reduce the impact of the global warming problem. The graphics on the t-shirts is printed with Thermo chromatic ink. Our body heat & the temperature surrounding react to the ink and the graphic will slowly changes color. This color change reflects our response and expresses our consciousness toward environmental issues. The extension of this project also created series of designer badges as well.
