moon clock
This conceptual clock is inspired by the lunar eclipse event that occurs when the earth moves between the sun and the moon. The eclipse causes the moon to turn red. The moon goes through the penumbral (lighter) shadow first then moves into the umbral (darkest) shadow. So, the concept of this clock is based on how the eclipse happens and we are able to see the representation of the eclipse transformed every hour in this clock design. This clock redefines 'time' in the way of simplifying the form and using a dynamic process of the movement of time without any numerical indication. With simple geometric shapes in a 2-colour combination (rich orange & warm grey colour), it recreates a new definition of time and enhances a sense of aesthetics in our living space.
