F69

This is the poster for F69. Below is what you can read from the poster:
“Next year, we’re sinking F69, a ship that has served the New Zealand Navy for over 20 years. The tired old girl will get a new lease of life as an artificial reef. In her final resting place off the coast of Wellington, F69 will become a sanctuary for marine life and a popular attraction for divers. We’re leaving the fish in charge. We know they’ll look after her.”

I was fortunate to take some pictures of F69 before it was sinked. (pictures taken on 17 August 2005, Wellington Harbour)
